For Media Who Wish to Visit NOAA Boulder

  • NOAA Boulder is on a secure Department of Commerce campus. 
  • All visitors to NOAA Boulder need to have a background check conducted by NIST Security prior to their visit.
  • Please submit queries a minimum of 24 hours (1 business day) before the requested visit.
  • We may not be able to accommodate deadline or same-day visits.
  • At this time visitors to NOAA Boulder need to be US citizens or permanent residents with a valid green card.
  • Foreign nationals will need special approval.
