NOAA Boulder Directors Council

The NOAA Boulder Directors Council (NBDC) represents the multiple NOAA line and staff offices housed within the David Skaggs Research Center (DSRC). The NBDC provides a coordinated operation and voice for NOAA within the larger, multi-agency Department of Commerce (DOC) campus in Boulder, which NOAA shares with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). The NBDC makes decisions and provides guidance to the Chair on major issues, such as campus policies, financial resources, and space allocations.

The NBDC is comprised of ten voting members, representing each of the NOAA line and staff offices in the DSRC, and is chaired by the Director of the Earth System Research Laboratories (ESRL). The Executive Director of NOAA Boulder Laboratories and the General Services Administration (GSA) Building Facilities Manager serve as non-voting, ex-officio members of the Council.
